When the English invade Athens, Greece, in 1626 in this alternate history, short love story, General Citikas of the Greek Army hears accounts of a new world far across the sea that is rich beyond all belief. Since he is believed to be the grandson of Alexander the Great, he is successful in getting the king to allow him to venture to the new world in search of the same glory that fell upon his grandfather. Although the young Greek goes in search of fame instead of fortune, Citikas gets more than he expects, running into the giant English force that now stands a better chance of defeating him and his army. But as Citikas enters a large Cherokee village, he comes into contact with a princess and finds himself determined to protect the natives from the English invasion. Will Citikas be able to stop the English from taking the village and will he be able to take the new world?
